What this site does not do

We think being clear about this belongs on the same page as the helpline number, because the promises a betting-analytics site makes are part of whether it does harm.

• We do not tell you to place a bet, and we do not sell picks.
• We do not claim to be profitable. Our published record shows the losses next to the wins, with the sample size, and we do not headline a win rate without it.
• We do not publish model predictions or forecast probabilities, and we do not claim to have information the market does not.
• We do not use urgency, streaks, or “locks” to get you to act. If a week has nothing worth saying, we say that instead.

Signs worth taking seriously

Gambling stops being entertainment when it starts costing you something else. Common signs include betting more than you can afford to lose, chasing losses with bigger bets, borrowing money to bet, hiding how much you bet from people close to you, and finding you cannot stop when you plan to.

If any of that sounds familiar, the helpline above is a good first call. Every major sportsbook also offers deposit limits, time-outs, and self-exclusion in its account settings, and every US state with legal betting runs a self-exclusion programme.
